Meiji has created something so smooth, so creamy, you may never look at ordinary truffles the same way again.

Strawberry Meltykiss comes in a cute, pink and red box, and was a big hit over St. Valentine's Day with the otaku community. Each box has a ton of individually wrapped chocolates that fit between your fingertips.

Yes, that's right. They are tiny, maybe half an inch in diameter. About the size of a peanut M&M. They look like a doll's truffle, so you wouldn't expect they would go through the trouble of wrapping each one.

But once unwrapped, these candies are simply elegant. They're not very sugary at all. The chocolate coating is rich, you can taste the cocoa powder with each one. The strawberry center is smooth and thick with a good balance of sweet and tart.

If you want to have something elegant on a budget, I just can't recommend these enough. They are the perfect thing to have the next time you want to watch a romantic film.
