Ki-Chan is an American-born Humanesque, a creature created by the Gods to fight demons. She was raised at a Japanese orphanage after demons murder her parents. In the first book, she finds a rag-tag group of college students from Illinois, who happen to have been born with unbelievable super powers. Together, they will uncover the secrets behind their mysterious powers as they face off against the minions of Lucifer.
